Laser cladding is a new surface modification technology. By adding cladding material on the surface of substrate, and using laser beam of high energy density to make it melt together with the thin layer on the surface of substrate, an additive cladding layer combined with metallurgy is formed on the surface of substrate.

The cladding layer is metallurgical bonded to the substrate with high bonding strength.
It can be used for cladding wear-resistant, high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy on the surface of die steel, nickel base superalloy, wear-resistant steel and corrosion-resistant material to meet various special surface performance requirements.
The laser power and cladding thickness are easy to adjust and the efficiency is high.
It can be easily integrated with robot system, with high adaptability and flexibility.
